Purpose
Blockhub, LLC does not host but provides access to trusted vendors - this is their policy. The purpose of this Website Backup Policy is to provide clients of Blockhub, LLC with a clear understanding of how website data is protected, how backups are managed, and what to expect in the event of data loss, corruption, or restoration needs. Scope This policy applies to all websites hosted by 3rd party vendors on our enterprise hosting platform (Hostinger Cloud Enterprise plan). It does not extend to websites hosted outside of our managed environment. Backup Frequency and Retention ● Daily Backups: Full website backups (files and databases) are performed automatically once every 24 hours. ● Retention Period: Backup copies are stored for a rolling period of 7 days. Each new backup replaces the oldest copy. ● Storage Location: Backups are stored securely on Hostinger’s infrastructure and managed under Hostinger’s Cloud Enterprise plan backup system. Restoration Policy ● On-Demand Restorations: In the event of accidental data loss, website corruption, or other technical issues, Ljordan Designs can request a restoration from the most recent available backup. ● Complete Failure backup: Ljordan Designs also maintains a singular backup of each client site as it was when the site launched. Additional local backups can be generated on request, but the client will be billed for the time to create. ● Limitations: Restorations are limited to the available backup points (up to 7 days prior). Ljordan Designs cannot restore backups older than the retention window. ● Timeframe: Restoration requests are typically completed within 24–48 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the website. Client Responsibilities ● Content Updates: Clients are responsible for maintaining copies of their own content, media, and data outside of Ljordan Designs’ hosting environment for additional assurance. ● Third-Party Tools: Any plugins, applications, or external services used by clients that are not included in Hostinger’s backup system must be backed up separately by the client. ● Requesting Restorations: Clients must submit a written request to Ljordan Designs for any restoration. Limitations and Disclaimers ● Ljordan Designs relies on Hostinger’s Cloud Enterprise plan backup infrastructure. While backups are provided daily and retained for 7 days, we cannot guarantee absolute prevention of data loss. ● Ljordan Designs is not liable for loss of data beyond the scope of the Hostinger backup system. Clients are encouraged to maintain independent backups of critical data. ● This backup service is included as part of Ljordan Designs’ hosting management and is not offered as a stand-alone service. Policy Review This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in technology, hosting infrastructure, or business requirements.
